Updated: May 16, 2023

At YAIPak Outreach everything starts with the Extravagant Love of Christ. God pursues each one of us to redefine our identity, restore our dignity, and remind us how deeply we are loved. With a focus on women, children and veterans, we are witnessing that power of Extravagant Love each day. Our warehouse for donation drop offs and volunteer hours is located at: 1255 Paradise Hill Rd., Ste A, Clarksville, TN 37040 We are open for donations and volunteers on Mondays from 9am to 12pm, Wednesdays from 12 to 2pm, and Thursdays from 5 to 8pm.

YAIPak Outreach in the Community

May is Foster Care Awareness Month!!

As you all know, Foster Care is very near and dear to our hearts. We believe it takes a caring community to support the children and foster families through trauma recovery.

Montgomery County Soccer Association is hosting a Foster Care Awareness day on May 6th at Heritage Park.

Several wonderful organizations will also be there. We are so thankful for what MCSA is doing to make a difference in our community!

Come see us! And bring new kids items to celebrate the little heroes & lives being changed because of selfless people called "Foster Parents"!! We will see you there!!

We are so grateful for our wonderful community who so generously serves and provides for Project Foster Hope. There's never a doubt in our mind that you are willing to supply all that's needed for these precious babies experiencing unimaginable trauma.

One of our wonderful friends has decided to throw YAIPak Outreach a Virtual Baby Shower in order to help provide more items we need for these babies that we are running low on...

Your Generosity at Work

When Child Protective Services has to get involved in a family’s story, it generally means there has been a level of trauma or neglect towards a child and their safety is in question.

This week we received a request from caseworker 'J' for 2 sisters who came into care with just the clothes they were wearing. This creates an emergency situation and we do our best to pack a bag of new clothes, new shoes, hygiene and comfort items to get into the hands of these children as quickly as possible. In this case, our team was able to get these delivered to 'J' in less than an hour as the sisters were waiting in the office to be transported to their new foster family.

We quickly received this text from the 'J'... "Thanks so much, the girls are so happy."

This was the 3rd emergency request in the last week.

We are so appreciative of the donations we receive to be able to help these brave kiddos at a moments notice and put a smile on their face in the midst of a traumatic situation.

Volunteer Spotlight

PETER GONZALEZ

Peter has been serving at YAIPak Outreach a little over the 3 year mark! He is currently active duty military devoting much of his "off time" serving his community. He and his wife Chrystal, our Veterans Manager, are very passionate about seeing hope restored in the lives of veterans and individuals just needing a friend. While Peter may be on the more quiet side, we have been afforded the opportunity to get to know him as a dad, a husband, a friend, a brother and a comrade.

Peter has recently taken on the responsibility of maintaining our YAIPak Fleet and we could not be more grateful. Our goal at YAIPak Outreach is to be a good steward of ALL that God has given us...including the vehicles we use to run our mobile outreach organization. He makes this part seamless and we know that we are safe on the journey of getting where we need to go because of him!

Thank you Peter for all you do!! For your family, for your friends and for this organization we all love!! You are important!!!!
