At YAIPak Outreach everything starts with the extravagant love of Christ. God pursues each one of us to redefine our identity, restore our dignity, and remind us how deeply we are loved. Our homeless friends have been lost and forgotten by the world, but they are important. We are here to extravagantly love them the same way we’ve been loved by God. Our warehouse is located at 210 S. Second Street. We are open for donations and volunteers on Mondays from 9 AM until 12 PM and Thursdays from 5 PM until 8 PM.
Meet Mr. Frank, aka Old Man Frank. Many of you may already be familiar with our friend. Mr. Frank is the precious gentleman who makes the absolutely beautiful walking sticks, and sometimes furniture, from what he finds in the woods where he lives. He is an extremely talented, kind and caring man, who we have been able to visit and get to know for a while now. In this picture, Mr. Frank is writing a thank you note to all of the wonderful people who will be attending our upcoming second annual Be the Hope banquet fundraiser. His emotions overcame him as he thought about those who would attend and learn about what we do and support our outreach.
We would like to invite you to be one of those in attendance. It is a very important event for us and we can't carry out our mission to provide support, comfort, and resources to people like Mr. Frank, without support from you!

How You Can Help
Operation Turkey Drop
We are doing a Thanksgiving food drive to help under-resourced families in our local schools and our veterans in need. If you would like to sponsor a local family for Thanksgiving, you can donate $45 to YAIPak Outreach and we will purchase the complete meal or you can purchase the following items and deliver to the warehouse:
Small or Medium Turkey
1 Box of Stuffing
1 Box Instant Potatoes
1 Gravy Packet
2 Cans Sweet Potatoes or Candied Yams
2 Cans Green Beans
2 Cans Corn
1 Can Cranberry Sauce
1 Box Cornbread Mix
1 Box of Brownie or Cookie Mix
Please bring all items together to the warehouse on Mondays from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM or on Thursdays 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. All monetary donations and Thanksgiving meals will need to be delivered to our warehouse by Wednesday, November 11. Thank you!
Project Foster Hope
Current events have greatly affected our resources to help critical needs with DCS, local area schools, and families experiencing hard times. The requests and needs of our community have increased significantly. If you would like to help with our Project Foster Hope, we are always in need of brand new, stylish clothing for every age from birth to 18 years. Also, we can always use brand new, small fun items for every age that are easy to pack and take with them wherever they go. We especially need fun, play items for older kids and teenagers. Please bring donations to the warehouse during our normal volunteer hours and thank you for partnering with us to bring joy to the children of our community.

Project Patriot Hope
We were extraordinarily blessed this month by Hawk Construction. Seven entire apartments full of like new furniture, washers, dryers, and kitchen supplies were donated in support of our Veterans moving from homelessness to housing. Soldiers from the HHC 39BEB 2nd Brigade served alongside us. It was wonderful to have this generation of warriors serve to impact another great generation of warriors, and we know many will be extremely blessed by this.
Your Generosity at Work
I made a new friend today... As soon as we pulled up and I got out of the van his sweet little head popped out and he said, “I just want a shower. We don’t have a way to get clean or take a shower.” Five years old and all he wanted was a shower. Not a toy or to ride his bike, go to school or play with friends.
We started drawing in the dirt on the trailer. I drew his name on the trailer and then showed him how to draw a heart around his name. His eyes lit up and a huge smile came across his face. He then said that he wanted to do my name next. He wanted to be the one who drew the heart around my name...then we did his mommy’s name of course. Something so simple meant so much. Was it the time invested into his little soul? Was it letting him know he was valued and seen? He melted my heart. So much future and life ahead of him. It never phased him... his surroundings or where he was. So desensitized to it all as it was his normal.
When will we be people that rise up against this “normal?" Five years old...a whole life ahead of him...our prayer is for him to know that he is so worth a new normal. Thank you for your generosity that allows us to go out and meet these needs where they are. To bring a little hope and love to our little friend and others in the same situation. To hopefully start them on a new path to a different normal.
