September 2023

At YAIPak Outreach everything starts with the Extravagant Love of Christ. God pursues each one of us to redefine our identity, restore our dignity, and remind us how deeply we are loved. With a focus on women, children and veterans, we are witnessing that power of Extravagant Love each day. Our warehouse for donation drop offs and volunteer hours is located at 1255 Paradise Hill Rd. We are open for donations and volunteers on Mondays from 9am to 12pm, Wednesdays from 12 to 2pm, and Thursdays from 5 to 8pm.

YAIPak Outreach in the Community

We are so excited to support Men of Valor and all the gentlemen that will benefit from this amazing program. This program reaches out to incarcerated men and creates a space to reconcile these men to the Lord, their families, and society.

A word from the organization...

"Pastor Tommy Vallejos made a remarkable connection, uniting Men of Valor with YAIPak Outreach in Clarksville, TN. The outcome? A generous supply of work clothes, including pants, shirts, socks, boots and gloves, alongside essential toiletries and underwear for our newly arrived men! This marks the beginning of what we know will be an impactful partnership. Thank you YAIPak and praise be to God!"

We know that these items can bring tangible hope to go along with the Hope being restored to each and every life. Thank you for your generosity that allows us to be a part.

We know November may seem far off from the heat of Summer, but it will be here before we know it! Go ahead and open your calendars and SAVE THE DATE now!

We are so excited to be hosting this year's Thanksgiving of Hope banquet at The Emerald Clarksville. It's going to a great night! We have lots of exciting updates and announcements for the future.

We hope you will join us.

"Everyone has been asking what exactly we are doing!?!"

We are so excited to share what is coming working together as a team with Rosemary Calcese and her husband Phil Calcese. A new initiative of YAIPak Outreach and our Project Foster Hope...

THE BUTTERFLY COTTAGES ARE COMING!

We are working to assist DCS in the proper placement, care, and deserving environments for our youth and children navigating the child welfare system.

The statistics speak for themselves:

*50-80% of human trafficked victims are in the child welfare system.

*After our kids age out of the system, 20% instantly become homeless.

*60% of the young men who age out of the system and are legally emancipated have been convicted of a crime.

*Tens of thousands of children in the foster care system are taken from their parents after extreme abuse.

Join us and the conversation to learn more on 14 September 2023 at 5pm.

Your Generosity at Work

Vision with action can change the world……

We have the faith to believe every small act of kindness comes together to make a huge impact.

Did you know “Be the Hope” is more than just a free handout? It’s about change. It’s about building relationships that trust to help move them forward. Whether it’s a tent until a home is available, or fully funding recovery for an addict who is ready. Bringing hope in the midst of someone’s devastation can be like a life raft for many. It provides an opportunity to stay afloat while heading to something greater in their life.

We envisioned the opportunity for our homeless friends to have a safe place to lay their heads. To lay down with peace knowing behind that locked door, there was less chance of being beaten, robbed, or worse. We believed building micro homes would give shelter to our friends and renew dignity, hope, and life. Help them feel safe in their very own space. Help them get out of the elements & and protect their meager belongings. This little micro-community helps them feel restored by providing neighbors who understand one another and provides showers, a laundry room, and garden space.

Revisiting our 4 homes last week and meeting two occupants blew us away! Big and bold letters for all to read make it clear that All Are Welcome at ‌Green Street Church. One of our residents declared: ”It is the best thing to ever happen to me! Ever!!!” he emphatically repeated. We’ve known him for a long time. His joy is real and though he doesn’t smile often, he couldn’t hold this one back.

Our friends at Green Street Church are extraordinary in allowing this tiny community of homeless people to have a space to call HOME.

We are committed to seeing our friends housed and their lives forever changed for the GOOD.

Welcome home friend

EAGLE SCOUT SHOUT-OUT!

We were honored to be the project undertaken by Shane. He reached out several months ago and shared that he would like to do something that would have a significant impact on our community. He provided over 200 hygiene bags filled with essential items that are much needed for men & teen guys. We use these items for pack outs that support youth in trauma moving into foster families and those that may be experiencing homelessness. We know that only the elite 4% of all scouts achieve Eagle Scout status so this achievement is truly outstanding! Congrats again & thank you for making a difference.
